WILL KESTER
"It's all true, only the facts have been changed."

Will Kester was born in Kansas, adopted, and his name changed. He grew up in the Midwest and Southwest, worked for a large International Company (it was Halliburton, but don't tell anyone), traveled to the far corners of the Earth on assignments, and lived in the Middle East for several years. He now lives in New Mexico and writes from his travels, experiences, and adventures; not all of them were fun. He uses his birth name as his pen name, hoping someday to hear from a distant relative. He is an artist, therapist, and enjoys living, writing, painting, reading, cooking, making (called "throwing") pottery, sculpting, building stained glass impressionist designs, and watches International Politics like sports enthusiasts watch sports. Note from the author:

I always work a few years ahead of publishers, and am often frustrated by how long it takes for a book to reach publication.  That said, I am excited that the first two books are now in print.  I feel I've grown along the way, hopefully, and have many projects in the works, to be released in the future, to share with my readers.  Please feel free to contact me with questions or comments, at willkester@msn.com

Thanks for allowing me this priviledge, and sharing my passion--literature that engages the reader, shares experiences and knowledge, and entertains, all at the same time.

P.S. The pug in this sketch is named Trouble, and his little sister is called Terrrible, even though it's not her name.  wk

In my travels, I hope I’ve learned something, but what, I’m often not sure.  I see the world as connected but disconnected, as cultures clash and disapprove of others and their ways.  I see Americans as admirable people, for their strengths and weaknesses, cherishing both.  In many of my writings, I try to share a different feeling of other places and other people, than the traditional concept of my friends and acquaintances.  Some of my views are often shocking to some, threatening to others, and alien to many, but I believe them to be true, not true as others are false, but true in my experience, in my life, and in my portrayal.  I invite my readers to enjoy, agree or disagree, and share their perceptions of my books, by e-mailing me through this website.  Your participation in my experience is vital, so…Thank you.  Will

Watch for "OOPS! The Adventures of Jinx and Philo," a book for young readers.  It is a sci-fi romp through space and time, as Jinx and his dog, Philo, along with his freind, Eddie, are launched into space, travel to Alpha Centauri, and meet some space aliens, who aren't nearly as scary as they had imagined.   I hope that kids enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it.
